Kite Instructor Seminar Hvide Sande

Requirements

•    Level 6 of the VDWS Kitesurfing Level System (Basic Jump and Carving Turns – including transitions into and out of Toe-Side, > see video).
•    Teaching experience is not required. However, thorough study of the theory on the VDWS E-Learning platform is necessary. This includes answering the assigned tasks. The time commitment is about 15–20 hours, depending on your learning style.

Contents
I. a. acquire the necessary knowledge to make kitesurfing fun for the students / first teaching experiences through teaching trials with kitesurfing students / organisation and implementation of safe kitesurfing lessons (basic licence) at different locations and with different kitesurfing systems.

Completion
Those who passed all examination parts during the Level 1 training course obtain the status of Level 1 Instructor. Level 2 is obtained upon completing the internship and submitting the required documents.

Important to know:
VDWS reserves the right to cancel the event for organizational reasons. The minimum number of participants is 4. Before the course begins, proof of the VDWS SafetyTool or equivalent liability insurance must be provided. Important: We recommend having a car or at least a bicycle on site. Shoes are mandatory due to shells (neoprene shoes required!)

Approximate time required for course preparation:
Preparation for theoretical content through the VDWS e-learning platform (time required approx. 15-20 hours depending on learning style).

Preparation of a roughly 15-minute sport-specific presentation for the participants during the course (topics will be assigned before the course).
