Windsurf Instructor Training Level 3 Egypt

Requirements:

• Completed VDWS Windsurf Instructor license
• Able to do beachstart, waterstart, planing and harness sailing

If your windsurfing level is not yet high enough for this topic, you are still very welcome to join.
In this case, your participation will count as a license renewal, not as a Level 3 qualification.

Goal:

After passing the exam, participants will receive Level 3 of the VDWS Instructor Training.
Participation in the seminar is also recognized by VDWS as continuing education for license renewal.

In this workshop you will learn:

Instruction and optimization of advanced techniques such as: beach starts and water starts, trapeze use, planing and footstrap riding, quick turns on a shortboard, and, if applicable, power jibes / Development of teaching skills in advanced maneuvers, including: methodological teaching approaches, special organizational forms, and simulator work. Also included are teaching materials and licensing for advanced techniques / Equipment knowledge for advanced students / Current information from the association.
    

Exam:

Within 10 minutes:
Free choice of equipment up to approximately 160 liters volume / 2 buoys are located on a beam reach (BR).
Step 1: Carry your equipment safely from the beach to the water without touching the ground – start surfing with a beach start.
Step 2: Surf on a beam reach to buoy 1, tack around the buoy, then surf back and jibe around buoy 2.
Step 3: Surf on a beam reach to buoy 1 – with at least your front foot in the footstrap – perform your chosen maneuver (tack or jibe) around buoy 1, then surf back to buoy 2 – again with at least your front foot in the footstrap.
Step 4: Return to the starting position.
