Watersport Assistant Wingfoil

Is Wingfoiling your passion?

You’re open-minded, enjoy working with people, and love being outdoors? Flexibility is one of your strengths?

Then the Water Sports Assistant training is the perfect opportunity to make the most of your school holidays and learn more about the water sports industry. Maybe one day, your hobby will even become your career!

This first level of training is perfect for those who have already helped out at a water sports school during their holidays. Your VDWS school can now document what you’ve learned and issue your first license!

After completing the training, the Water Sports Assistant becomes a free VDWS member for two years and can take advantage of all the benefits. After completing the Instructor Course, the individual becomes a full member with the corresponding annual fee.

  • Discounts & Internship:

    • If the Instructor Course is completed within two years, the Water Sports Assistant receives a 10% discount on the course fee.
    • The internship for the Instructor Course can be reduced by up to 50% (50 instead of 100 hours) if done at the same school.
    • If the internship is completed at a different school, there is a 20% reduction (80 instead of 100 hours).

The training lasts approximately 2-8 weeks and covers the following topics:

  • School organization and rental: approx. 10 hours
  • Safety concept of the station: approx. 2 hours
  • Customer and sales conversations, service: approx. 8 hours
  • Basic material knowledge: approx. 5 hours
